Detailed Itinerary

Your journey begins at 7:30 a.m. towards the city of Vlora, from where the boat trip to Karaburun and Sazan National Marine Park takes place. The boat begins to go to the Karaburun Peninsula, which takes about an hour and a half. Here you have plenty of time to relax on the beautiful beach in Karaburun. A packed lunch will be provided to you.

Afterwards, continue to Sazan Island. The island with its mysterious military past was closed to all civilians for 72 years and was only made limited access to the public for the first time in 2017. Countless grottos and caves are lined up along this stretch of coast. It is an untouched region on the edge of the Ionian and Adriatic Seas, near the cave of Haxhi Ali.

This cave is named after a famous captain who defended Albania from sea pirates who targeted the Albanian coasts in the 15th century. After the sea grotto of the pirate Haxhi Ali, you will go to St. Vasili beach for a swimming break and later return to Vlore.

The tour concludes with a city tour of Vlora, the second largest port city in Albania and the most important economic and cultural center in the southwest of the country. After exploring this historic city, where Albania's independence was declared in 1912, you will return to your hotel.
