Your journey begins at 9:00 am towards the city of Tirana, the capital of Albania. During the city tour, you will have the opportunity to discover a city known for its colorful buildings. A visit to the National Historical Museum, located on Skanderbeg Square, will introduce you to Albania's rich history.

Here, in this square, you will also visit the Et'hem Bey Mosque, which was preserved even during the communist era thanks to its historical value. Right next door are other sights such as the opera, the clock tower and the Palace of Culture as well as the Orthodox and Catholic cathedrals.

We then continue to National Martyrs Boulevard. Here you will get to know a piece of the everyday life of former dictator Enver Hoxha by visiting the pyramid. Walk through the Blloku district, the most popular district for young people, companies and cafes.

Next we will drive you to Kruja. The medieval town of Kruja lies at an altitude of over 600 m, on the slopes of the Skanderbeg Mountains. Kruja has a castle complex dating back to the 5th century AD, which rises picturesquely above the town.

A traditional lunch at a local restaurant is available as an optional add-on.

When you visit the castle you will experience a step back into medieval history. Kruja was the most important city of the Albanians in the 15th century, which survived at least three major sieges.

The Old Bazaar is a wonderful place to browse and purchase handmade items as souvenirs of your journey.

After exploring both cities, we'll return you to your hotel.
